Hi, We're Tracy & Pat
Our Home & Our World
Our Home
Warm, lived-in, and always full of people we love
Our home is a house on Long Island, and it is truly the heart of everything we do. We own it, and from the moment you walk in, you get a sense of the life that fills it. Warm, lived-in, and almost always full of people we love.
We have a backyard where our three dogs, Clyde, Bird, and Bronx, are already eagerly waiting for their little human to come play with them. Outside our door, we are lucky enough to be just a short distance from the beach ~ something we take full advantage of for about seven months of the year. The ocean, the fresh air, and that laid-back coastal energy are very much a part of who we are.
A room ready and waiting ~ full of possibility, and everything they will one day make their own.
A Room Ready and Waiting
Waiting to be filled with life and personality
We have a room set aside and ready for our child. It is waiting to be filled with life, personality, and all the little things that will make it theirs. And as you can see, one of the dogs has already decided it belongs to them too.
Our Neighborhood
A community made for raising a family
We are nestled in a community that feels like it was made for raising a family. It is close-knit, family-friendly, and full of opportunity. A place where kids grow up with room to explore, strong schools, and neighbors who feel like an extension of home.
A Typical Weekend
Every weekend looks a little different ~ and we love that
Some weekends you'll find us at the beach with the dogs, cheering on our exchange student at a flag football game, or heading out to explore something new together. Other weekends are all about gathering ~ friends coming over, kids running around, good food, and great company. And then there are the quiet Sundays. A nice dinner, some rest, and just being together. We love all versions equally.
Kindness, acceptance, growth, and goodness ~ not just words, but the way we try to show up every single day.
Our Values
Rooted in kindness, acceptance, and goodness
Our family is rooted in kindness, acceptance, growth, and goodness. These aren't just words to us ~ they show up in how we treat people every day, how we show up for our community, and how we hope to raise our child.
Faith is not a cornerstone of our daily lives in a traditional sense, but our values run deep. If our child ever expresses curiosity about faith or religion, we will embrace that with open arms and full support. We believe in raising a child who is free to explore, question, and discover what resonates with them.
Traditions in the Making
The ones already taking shape, and the ones yet to come
Some of our favorite traditions are already taking shape. Cousins' houses at Christmas, an end-of-school-year vacation to look forward to every year, and the kind of spontaneous memories that just happen when you're surrounded by the right people. We are so excited to build new traditions around our growing family.
A childhood full of love, full of people cheering them on, and always a safe and warm place to come home to.
The Childhood We Picture
Full of love, people, and every kind of adventure
We picture a childhood that is full. Full of love, full of people cheering them on, full of experiences big and small. Close family, good friends, beach days, dinner tables crowded with people who adore them, and always a safe and warm place to come home to.
