First and most importantly, thank you for taking the time to read our letter and learn a little about us. We know the journey you are on is deeply emotional and requires incredible strength. While we cannot fully understand the weight of the decisions you are facing, we want you to know that we have deep respect for you and the love that goes into considering adoption.

Our names are Tracy and Pat. For a long time, we have dreamed about becoming parents and building a family together. Over the years we went through multiple rounds of IVF, hoping each time that it would be the moment our family finally began to grow. While that journey was not the path we ultimately expected, it helped us realize that what matters most to us is becoming parents and sharing our lives with a child.

Through all of this, our home has always been full of life. We share it with our three dogs Clyde, Bird, and Bronx who bring so much personality, laughter, and energy into our everyday lives. They are truly part of our family and a reminder of how much joy a home can hold.

One of the most meaningful experiences we have had recently was welcoming a young exchange student from Spain into our home. Over the past year she became a very special part of our family. We shared everyday moments like dinners, holidays, and exploring new places together. That experience gave us a glimpse of what it feels like to nurture and support a young person as they grow, and it only deepened our excitement about becoming parents. More than anything, that experience confirmed just how much we truly want to become parents and build a family of our own.

Our community and inner circle is everything to us! We are fortunate to be surrounded by loving relatives and close friends who are incredibly supportive and excited to welcome a child into our lives. There will always be people cheering them on, celebrating their milestones, and helping them feel supported every step of the way.

If we are lucky enough to become parents, our promise is simple. Your child will grow up in a home filled with love, laughter, encouragement, and curiosity. Tracy is a teacher, and caring for and guiding children is something that is truly part of who she is. Her patience, kindness, and ability to help children learn and grow are qualities that will make her an incredible mother.

Pat's career path has been a bit unconventional, but it was made possible by the unwavering love and support of his parents. That experience taught him the importance of encouragement, belief, and standing behind the people you love. Together, we hope to pass those same values on to a child and support them as they discover who they are and what they want to become.

We look forward to the everyday moments ~ bedtime stories, family dinners, helping with homework, celebrating birthdays and holidays ~ as well as the adventures of exploring the world together. We picture a childhood full of warmth, learning, and the freedom to discover who they are while always knowing they have a safe and loving home to come back to.

We also promise to honor and respect your place in your child's story. They will grow up knowing that their story began with love, and we will always speak about you with kindness and gratitude.
